The Rise of the Immortals was born under two brothers: Vladimir and Alexander Makhailov. After they ventured into the city they discovered that their blood was the cure to the infection. Their blood negated the negative side effects from the N-4 Virus but it also enhanced their strength, speed, pain tolerance, and regenerative abilities; these strange effects has made the brothers obtain tremendous powers. As rumors spread of this ordeal any people came to the brothers searching for this "cure". After the initiation, training, and process to become a Immortal one of the brothers would inject their blood into the applicant. Over the years many recruits failed and became the infected, but only a select few embraced the new antibodies from the blood and became Immortals.
